Yep, I had a once over done on my 15 F150 with 3.5 ecoboost looking for a oil leak. The truck at 95000 on it. The mechanic found a broken stud on the drivers side. The mechanic gave me a price to fix that included BD manifold kit. I'm going for it.

Appreciate a more affordable solution than the wicked awesome Banks intake system. Still cant believe that Cummins is still rolling with this design even after all the negative publicity and blown up engines.

Curious why I never see anyone draining the torque converter when changing out the transmission fluid and filter on the 10R80.

On my 2016 I had a broken stud on the divers side so I ordered these. Called several shops to install them for me but they all refused so I did it myself and just finished. Have never done a job like this. Took about 18 hours over 3 days due to the learning curve and trying not to royaly mess something up. Could probably do it in half that now but everything's working great and I'm glad to have went with this upgrade. Don't forget to buy a turbo gasket install kit with these.

mine is still ticking after the BD manifold installed by mechanic. with a stethoscope, its very loud still on drivers side. looks like a bolt is missing in the front hole. driver side, bottom, closest to front of truck. is a bolt supposed to go there? he says its a blind hole and no bolt. says it was likely made like that to fit other models?? mine is a 2013 ram 1500 5.7

What benefit over the PPR pan does this offer?

To be fair, there is a box of small parts and a wiring harness with a control module that need to be installed as well. That also gives you engine braking capability.

Is there any talks between Ram and BD to replace under warranty with BD manifolds ?

Not seeing an install kit specific to the screamer on the website, so I’m guessing the streamer would use the howler install kit?

Does this also get rid of the pump whine that some of these transmissions are known for. My 2019 5.0 f150 makes a loud whine at low speeds.

I ordered these for my 2018 Ram 1500 limited Tungsten edition Classic Body. For $525.00 ( both sides) It has 76,000 miles on it and the drivers side manifold started leaking a month or so ago. The dealership wanted $1500 to repair both sides saying they were both leaking. Stating they would replace the gaskets and the bolts but if a bolt had to be extracted, there would be an upcharge. ( no new Manifold ) So I decided to do it myself. Once I received my order I made pretty quick work of replacing the drivers side manifold, Gasket and new hardwear. It took me 6 hours in my driveway. Only having to remove one broken bolt. Having never performed this type of job before , I was very happy with the results and the BD diesel Manifold kit. Now I've got to replace the passengers side. ( although its not leaking) They lied ..

A novice can do this however plan on double the time I did this job on my 2012 5.7 130,000 miles and now my 2021 5.7. 88,000 miles. Shame on RAM I had to do it again on the newer engine.

Just to clarify, the exhaust manifold warps first because they have been made with less material to help to decrease the overall vehicle weight. That's why the end bolts break because of the added stress caused by the manifold turning into a banana!

That looks too much like the controller for a vvgt turbo for my liking

Is this supposed to be a delayed april fools joke or something? Plastic exhaust manifolds? Im sure it's cheap to pump these out on your ender 3 but this is real trucks were talking here. These will warp or crack like crazy assuming they dont melt after your first warmed up wot pull.
